Vintage Machin Shirtmaker Los Angeles
Machin Shirtmaker was well know for making fabulous custom fitted shirts for the wealthy and famous.
Some noted people who had shirts made were: John Wayne, Burt Reynolds, Buddy Ebsen, Gregory Peck, Raymond Burr, Yul Brynner, Paul Newman and Marlon Brando just to name a few.
This shirt was made for Leo A Daly of Omaha, NE. founder of
an American architecture, planning, engineering, interior design and program management firm.
This wonderful example is made of the finest cotton, I laundered it and it ironed like a dream.
The bib front has white on white embroidered flowers and pin tucks.
It has french cuffs that will need cuff links.
The shirt will need studs.
