The Armed Forces of Ukraine used oval dog tags, each tag contains the title 'ЗС України' (in Ukrainian: 'Збройні Сили України') and the individual's alphanumeric number. The design of these dog tags is a copy of the Soviet Army dog tags. Since February 2015, they began to be replaced with new (more modern) ones. The new dog tag indicates the last name, first name, patronymic, blood type, rhesus factor, personal ID number and name of the State (Ukraine)
